This was easily the best meal I have had in Arras, the steak was perfectly cooked and the chips were a really great rustic style. The service was great as although my family struggle with French the waiter made sure that we could understand everything on the menu and about our order. I 100% recommend Le Comptoir for anyone visiting Arras

We tried to visit tonight, we accept it is the Christmas fayre weekend and very busy. But we were told a table was available at 9.30pm. She refused to reserve for us, I assumed she did not trust us to return. When we went back at 9.35 she then said " it is not possible for me " Do not bother they clearly do not want new clients.

Great food, great service - their secret steak suace was incredible. Well cooked meat which great quality steak and chips. The dessert was amazing ive never had anything like it! Great evening with friendly staff and even though my French is terrible - we managed to communicate successfully and I understood the menu. Great hidden gem on the main square would definatly recommend!

This is an amazing place! Loved the food, the beer and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is perfectly located between the two squares. My son loved the kids menu burger. My daughter had the Caesar salad my wife the chicken and I had the Tartare Le Génois. The beer I had was called Castilian, a blonde. I recommend it all. Will totally come back to this amazing restaurant again.

First time in this restaurant and amazing experience! Friendly staff, fresh home-made delicious food, large cellar rooms (social distancing made easy!), playfull vintage decoration and generous portions, this restaurant is top notch!

Forgettable food with a totally bizarre attempt at a Welsh rarebit which was essentially a bowl of orange melted cheese. Food generally bland, and bread stale. Service was very slow and exceptionally rude. I’ve eaten in France hundreds of times and love French food but this was very disappointing indeed.
